GOALS
The scope of The International Conference on Security
for Information Technology and Communications, SECITC 2010, is to bring
together specialists that are researching, developing solutions or
practitioners in the field of information and communications security.
The friendly atmosphere of the meetings will provide a communication
oriented environment that will help delegates from different areas
to exchange ideas and to get feedback for their work. The event offers
to engineers, software developers, mathematicians and scientists,
the possibilities to establish new collaborations within current and
future research projects, to present research results, to establish
academic collaborations, to link the university research with the
industry. The organizing committee invites papers that describe
new methods or technologies, advanced prototypes, tools, techniques
and papers representing general survey of the target areas. All the program committee members and registered
evaluators are well-established and leading researchers in all of
the Conference areas. This will provide a high quality evaluation
process. The Conference aims to attract young researchers
and to provide them a way to publish their work. Young researchers
that have finished their PhD program in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 are invited to
send a paper that describes personal contributions to any of the Conference
areas. A special session will be reserved for the presentations of
the best PhD. Thesis. Researchers interested in proposing a special session
or companies interested in presenting their products are invited to
contact the conference secretariat.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
Authors are invited to send 1 up to 2 complete papers, written
in English. Each paper has maximum 10 (ten) A4 pages with special format, using the submission
web-based tool provided by this site, http://www.secitc.eu.
All submitted papers will be evaluated by 2 independent reviewers
and the authors will be notified of the result by email by the program
committee. Each paper should clearly indicate the nature of
its technical or scientific contribution, and the area to which is
applicable. Authors are responsible for indicating the correct
conference area to which the paper is submitted. Authors are responsible for checking their papers
for correct English grammar and spelling. All papers are evaluated by a "blind paper
evaluation method" that will assure an objective evaluation environment.
Only one author of the paper, the contact author, is
responsible for submitting the paper using the web-based tool, http://www.secitc.eu.
He should register in this web site with personal data.
After the completion of the of the registration process, an automatically
email will be generated as a successful acknowledgement.
If the acknowledgement email is not received, the contact author is
requested to contact the secretariat. If the author is unable to use the web-based procedure,
the paper can be sent by email to the conference secretariat. The
message contains as attachements the full paper (PDF, DOC,
RTF formats) and an additional file containing author(s) information,
keywords and the paper abstract. In the message text, the contact
author must indicate the conference area to which the paper is submitted.
PUBLICATIONS
Paper describing original work will be evaluated
based on quality, relevance and innovation. All accepted papers will be published in the SECITC
2010 Conference Proceedings Journal, and it has ISSN. The papers of the conference which contains quantitative and quality security tests will be selected
to be published in the online journal JAQM - Journal of Applied Quantitative
Methods. The authors of these papers will be invited to send
extended versions of their work to the journal editorial team. The
JAQM journal is currently under analysis from major index databases.

LOCATION
- The conference will be held in Bucharest, Romania at
Academy of Economic Studies from Bucharest. The university stays about 50 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to any major
sightseeing places. The location offers access to subway or any
other ground public transport services, allowing travel anywhere in Bucharest.
